0 WeTab Meego powered Tablet will run Android apps too...

We all heard about the WePad(WeTab) tablet which was announced a few months after the iPad hit the US market . Recently WePad had changed their name to WeTab , it is believed that the rare name change is due to some trademark issue with iPad but the changes are only limited to the name and not other particulars . The WeTab had plans to run on the Android OS previously but reports confirmed later that the tablet is going to be powered by MeegoOS which is the latest OS developed from the joint efforts from Intel and Nokia , the linux based OS will have ability to run Java , Linux , Adobe Air and of course Meego apps but apart from this it now also claims to be running Android applications . Whether it is the Android Market support or just Android apps is still not confirmed but we now know Meego can run Android apps .
Along with the much expected multitasking capabilities , USB capabilities with two USB ports, MicroSD  , Flash , mouse support and web-cam support its going to be a strong competitor for the iPad and other tablets .
The tablet will feature an app store called the "Meta Store" giving access to wide range of apps compatible with the Meego powered tablet .
The tablet would come with a 11.6" capacitive screen , Meego OS ,Intel Atom processor with a 16GB (Wi-Fi only) for €449 ($587 USD) and a 32GB model (3G, GPS, 1080p HDMI) for €569.
While the tablet claims to bring computing to a next level we really to need to check it out for a review soon and bring out some of the interesting points .
