0 AMD pledges its support to Meego OS

Chipmaker AMD on Monday pledged its support to the MeeGo open-source operating system for mobile devices. The announcement was made at the MeeGo Conference 2010 and sees AMD joining Intel and Nokia as partners in the Linux Foundation project. According to AMD's corporate VP of software development, Ben Bar-Haim, the company will provide engineering resources to the project.
